Biography

Parntip Juntama is a Researcher at HITAP specializing in Health Technology Assessment (HTA) and Health Economics. Her work focuses on policy-related research that provides evidence to support healthcare policy decisions in Thailand.

Research Focus:
Parntip conducts research on various health policy topics to inform national public health strategies. Her work includes cost-effectiveness and budget impact analyses across different areas of healthcare, from drug evaluations and health screening policy to emerging health technologies.
Research Experience:
- Drug evaluation studies, including anti-osteoporosis medicines
- Screening policy, Fracture risk assessment and osteoporosis screening
- Precision medicine technologies such as whole exome sequencing
- Digital health interventions like telepsychiatry services

She works closely with policymakers, healthcare providers, and patient groups to ensure her research addresses real healthcare needs and can be effectively implemented in Thailand\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\'s health system.

Other Experience (Past):
- Former Secretariat of the Health Economic Working Group National List of Essential Medicines (NLEM) Subcommittee Supported the economic evaluation process for essential medicines selection in Thailand.
- Former Secretariat for WHO–Royal Thai Government Country Cooperation Strategy Digital Health Initiative (2022–2026), Coordinated efforts to integrate digital health platforms with Thailand\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\'s national health information systems.
