Socioeconomic Impact of Universal Health Coverage
About Project
Content
Thailand introduced and legislated Universal Health Coverage (UHC), “30 baht treats all disease project”, in 2001. The scheme covered approximately 47 million people who were not insured by Thailand's other existing large scale insurance schemes. This work aims to 1) understand how UHC affects and alters households’ routine life decisions, and 2) explore the heterogeneous impacts of UHC on different subgroups.
