Capcity builiding and Network establishment of Health Intervention and Technology Assesment in Thailand: Phase I (2008-2010)
About Project
This project aims to support HITAP ’s capacity building strategy through individual capacity development schemes, for instance, participating in academic conferences, or providing an opportunity to work in and learn from other health technology assessment (HTA ) organizations. In addition, this project included international networking with leading HTA organizations and universities. This is a part of the development plan of HITAP , aiming at developing HTA related policies, and the setting up a formal HTA system and an official HTA body in Thailand. Support from the Thai Health-Global Link Initiative Project (TGLIP) is believed to be a vital feature, not only for HITAP ’scapacity building schemes, but also to the Thai health research system.
